Students have taken their "Story Behind the Name" document and created a narrative of their family's immigration story. The learning intentions of this task are to:
Develop story telling skillsAppreciate Canada's diversity Understand how immigration is experienced differently (multiple perspectives) Recognize how solid our ties are to our ancestors Develop sense of identity This week students made their first iterations. Through feedback loops, mini lessons, and self-assessment, students will revisit this task a number of times in order to grow as engaging storytellers.
