Students have wrapped up their novel study work (grand conversations) with a project about character development. The majority of projects are complete and students will be presenting their work on Monday. The following are the students who are taking their projects home to finish and bring back on Monday:
Our Grade 9 French students, along with the help of Mr. Potvin, have organized le Carnaval de l'hiver for our students to enjoy. The festivities will begin at 9am on Friday, March 2. The Grade 5 schedule is as follows:
9am: Big Ski Race 9:30: Bonhomme/Snowman Building 10:00: Scavenger Hunt (with hot chocolate and maple syrup on snow) 10:30: Tug of War 11:00: Skating/Snow soccer at Century Hall There is also a "Chill Station" for students who need some downtime. In the event of incremental weather, activities will be brought indoors. It is important for students to come dressed for the weather and activities. As always, if students are skating they must have an approved helmet. |
